실험실 소개

세균내성실험실에서는 인체에 감염을 일으키는 세균의 항균제내성을 연구합니다. 항균제내성세균의 역학, 기전, 검출기법의 개발에 대한 연구를 통하여 감염질환의 예방, 진단, 치료에 도움을 주고자합니다. 주로 beta-lactamase (extended-spectrum beta-lactamase, AmpC beta-lactamase, carbapenemase) 생성세균에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 원헬스(인간-동물-환경) 측면에서의 항균제내성의 전파기전에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.

The Bacterial Resistance Laboratory is a laboratory that studies the antimicrobial-resistant bacteria that cause human infections. The institution aims to help with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases through research into the epidemiology, mechanism, and detection methods of the antimicrobial-resistant bacteria. We are mainly doing research on beta-lactamase (extended-spectrum beta-lactamase, AmpC beta-lactamase, and carbapenemase) producing bacteria and on the relationship between antimicrobial resistance in terms of One Health (human-animal-environment) perspectives.
